Creative Rhythm Art Exhibit at the Bankhead Theater Gallery

Creative Rhythm Art Exhibit

“Now this is very profound, what rhythm is, and goes far deeper than words. A sight, an emotion, creates this wave in the mind, long before it makes words to fit it ...”

Virginia Woolf

Visual beauty through creation of rhythm.  A colorful mix of mediums, styles, color palettes through photography, acrylic, oil, watercolor and collage — this exhibit is all about finding the rhythm in art. There’s ballerinas, and fire dancers; there’s nature’s beauty and pure abstractions. These are the artists that are creating the rhythm of something that makes a good thing.

Creative Rhythm is on display at the Bankhead Theater Gallery May 3 through June 26, 2017.

The Artists Reception is Saturday, May 20 from 1-3 pm. The reception is free and open to the public and will feature two forms of another kind of rhythm: dance. Special guests Condanza and Livermore Argentine Tango will be live in the lobby with performance demonstrations of visual rhythm that is the perfect accompaniment for creative rhythm. Join the tribute to rhythm and enjoy light refreshments and wine.
