“The Last Romance”
A 2-act play by Joe DiPietro; directed by Martie Muldoon
Performances Sept 21-23
On an ordinary day in a routine life, Ralph decides to take a different path on his daily walk – one that leads him to an unexpected second chance at love.
Relying on a renewed boyish charm, Ralph attempts to woo the elegant, but distant, Carol. Defying Carol’s reticence, and his lonely sister’s jealousy, Ralph embarks on the trip of a lifetime. THE LAST ROMANCE is a heart-warming story about the transformative power of love.

Instructor, Darcy Marta is an award winning actress, director & producer; she has worked professionally in theater, film and television and as an instructor for over 35 years. Darcy calls this class: The One That Got Away....Stories of love and Relationships. A unique and original piece created with the use of dramatic improv and scripted circumstances.
This class will explore the use of dramatic improvisation to develop character profiles and a deeper understanding how to use an actor's personal life experiences to support the character's objectives.
While most people associate the word 'improvisation' with comedy, and associate the word 'drama' with serious tragedy, this class will focus on content rather than style, (we will laugh and possibly cry). As an acting workshop that is using improvisation as the tool for story-telling, the participants do not have to have prior improvisation training to be a part of this workshop, this is an acting workshop -not an improv workshop. All that is required to participate in this workshop is a desire to work with a fantastic group of actors, be willing to play, use your imagination and be willing to share a story or two from your own life about love...with embellishments.
The class will run for 6 consecutive Saturdays beginning on July 7th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and culminate with two showcase performances scheduled for August 17th and 18th.
Class size will be limited to 12 participants. The class fee is $150. Register here. You will receive an email confirmation. Direct questions to Kathy Streeter firstname.lastname@example.org
